Which NFL players would you like to be a car mechanic?

From street cars to race cars, from the smallest to the largest, from luxury SUVs to small luxury SUV’s, car mechanics have been in demand for decades.

But it’s never been easier to get into the game.

Here are 10 players who are currently car-modifying their way into the NFL.

1.

Andrew Luck (IND) If you have any doubts about Luck’s skills as a car technician, this guy knows how to work a car.

Luck is known for his work on Ford’s F-150 and a variety of other classic Ford vehicles.

He’s a major part of Ford’s restoration efforts and the only player in the NFL to have built his own car since he started playing.

He is a former driver in the Detroit Lions, and was one of the driving forces behind the team’s winning streak in 2014.

2.

Chris Johnson (CLE) The Bengals cornerback has been a major car mechanic since he joined the team in 2009.

He was the driving force behind the Cincinnati Bengals’ championship run in 2013.

3.

Marcus Mariota (BUF) The Titans quarterback is a huge car mechanic, and he’s made his mark with Ford’s Fusion, the most expensive car on the market.

4.

Antonio Gates (TEN) Gates is a big fan of Ford cars and has been working on a few of his own since joining the Titans in 2012.

5.

Ryan Mathews (KC) Mathews is one of just a handful of NFL players who owns his own vehicle and has made a name for himself in the car world by working on Ford Mustangs and Dodge Chargers.

6.

Jared Cook (JAC) A three-time Pro Bowler, Cook has been in the business for a long time and has built his reputation on making his own cars.

7.

Brian Hoyer (CLE/TEN/HOU) Hoyer was a big part of the Cleveland Browns’ championship team in 2014 and 2015, and is a major player in Ford’s efforts to keep its F-Series line alive.

8.

Josh Gordon (CLE, GB) Gordon is the second-highest paid quarterback in the league, after the reigning MVP Tom Brady.

He recently became the first player to win three Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots, and has become a major figure in Ford.

9.

Jared Allen (NYJ) Allen, the Jets defensive end, is a massive fan of cars.

He has built a reputation for himself building his own Ford Escort and has even built a couple of cars himself.

10.

Derek Carr (DEN) Carr is the first NFL quarterback to ever win three Pro Bowls, and his accomplishments have become a big factor in Ford and the NFL’s automotive industry.
