BMW M4 owner dies after a collision with car modification contractor
A BMW M3 owner in Britain has died after being hit by a car modification firm’s vehicle, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The car’s owner, who was working on the car at the time of the accident, was killed by the crash, according the paper.
The collision happened on Sunday night, the newspaper reported.
The accident happened on a busy road near the city of Sheffield, near the site of the recent fatal crash of a Mercedes Benz.
Police were called to the scene of the crash after a man who was in the Mercedes Benz was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver was taken into custody.
The incident has raised concerns about the safety of car-modification equipment.
The Daily Mail reported that a “very high-end car modification company” has a contract with BMW, and that its employees are prohibited from driving any vehicles in the UK.
A spokesperson for the firm told the newspaper that the car’s driver was not an employee and did not have a licence.
“We can confirm that the driver of this vehicle was not part of our company,” the spokesperson said.
“The car is in the possession of a licensed BMW owner who has a license to drive a car in the country.”
A spokesperson at the car company told the paper that the owner of the Mercedes was “very upset” by the incident.
“She’s devastated by this incident and wishes to express her sincere condolences to her family,” the spokesman said.
